Private lodge camp, in Big 5 reserve for sale
Imagine having a share of a private lodge camp, in “Big 5” with attractive location on dry riverbed and under large Jackal berry trees. This 25% share offers you usage every four weeks, for you, your family, and friends, with over 7,500 ha of “Big 5” traversing. The camp is managed by two staff members who take care of housekeeping, gardens, and maintenance.
The lodge is fully fitted with furniture, linen, kitchen utensils, shareholder lockers and a game vehicle. Arrive on Mondays and leave on Sundays, or alternately come through for the weekend.
The Private Lodge Camp consists of:
Central lodge area with Kitchen, Louge, Tv Wi-Fi, Shower and Toilet, Scullery and Shareholders Lockable cupboards, Fridges, dining area and upstairs loft room for the children.
There is a covered dining area overlooking the river and alongside it is a BOMA and Braai area. Infront of the outside dining area is a pool and walkway down to a large deck overlooking the riverbed. The banks of the river are productive with game and all types of birdlife and a good place to sit and relax.
There are five Chalets overlook the dry riverbed and located under large Jackal berry trees. Each Chalet has its own outside patio and Outdoor shower, indoor shower, or bath.
5 Chalets consisting of:
Room 1 (Meercat room) Double Bed, Indoor and outdoor shower, Aircon, located on the right of the lounge area.
Room 2(Zebra Room), Double Bed, bath and outdoor shower, Aircon, located Far Right from the lounge area.
Room 3 (Gemsbok room) Double Bed, Indoor and outdoor shower, Aircon, located left of the lounge.
Room 4 (Giraffe room) Two single beds, bath, and outdoor shower, Aircon, located left of the lounge.
Room 5 (Hoopoe room) Double Bed, Indoor and outdoor shower, Aircon, located Far left of Lounge.
Additionally, there is a:
Laundry with washer and dryer. Staff arrange all cleaning of Linen.
Swimming Pool with views of the river
Outside Dining Area, under roof
BOMA Braai area
Live in staff lady to clean and do linen, Gentleman does garden and maintenance.
Borehole water and shared with a neighbouring house.
Own Eskom line under ground
The roof has recently been upgraded with Harvy tile, placed over the thatch to reduce maintenance.
A new large patio deck has been built overlooking on the river
This share has 2 nominated Drivers, meaning two individuals can be nominated to do the game drives across the reserve.
Share holder weekly changeover is on a Monday to Sunday, staff put on new linen on Sunday afternoon and do a clean, so lodge is ready for incoming shareholders. Unused periods are available to the remaining shareholders and cannot be rented out for income generation purchases.
Housekeeper normally takes off on Monday and Tuesdays
There are No land claims over the reserve.
All the levies, Rates and Tazes and running costs are shared between the 4 shareholders. Levies are around R10,000 per month per member, which include Internet, DSTV, Insurance, cleaning lady and gardener, and reserve levies.
