Plettenberg Bay will have the privilege to host the start of the PEPlett MTB race this year. Moving into its 4th year running, the PEPlett 4 day mountain bike stage race will start on the 1st September, at Kurland Polo Fields in Plett.
The 2016 race will see the introduction of a new lite category which is a shorter and easier route and affords those not-so-serious riders the opportunity to be part of this 4 Day MTB adventure. The coastline between Plettenberg Bay and Port Elizabeth is mountain bike heaven and the LITE riders will enjoy a maximum of 60km each day of great Gravel Roads, Jeep Track and most definitely some small single track challenges en route. There will be an option for Solo or Team groups. Cyclists will find all terrain conditions during the 4 day race: Technical, rocky and flowing single track, jeep track and some tar.
