We all know how we need to do physical exercise, getting ourselves to do it is just another matter. Running can be rewarding and refreshing with great benefits like helping to build strong bones as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthening your muscles, improving cardiovascular fitness and the best of all it burns plenty of kilojoules.

Why not join your social life with physical fitness to encourage yourself to get out there? Plett Athletics Club will gladly and warmly welcome you. Here is a bit of info.

Weekly Program: Time trials every Thursday at 17:15 in the Winter and 17:30 during Summer. Locals and holiday makers are welcome to join us at the Ski Boat Club for a 3, 5 or 10km run. Stay afterwards for a drink and bite to eat.

Latest News: Plett can proudly say that all 6 runners from our town that entered the 2016 comrades marathon successfully completed the gruelling 89.2km race with great times.

Upcoming Events: We are planning a family and social full moon run on Central Beach during August, our annual trail run, The Robberg Express 10km will be on Sunday the 9 October, and the Shy Shark 5 km run for family on the same day. Keep your eyes on the local press for more details in the upcoming weeks.
