Garden Route Walking Festival
South Africa’s first and only walking festival that is offering over 52 unique walks to choose from. This outdoors event celebrates one of the world’s great walking destinations – the Southern Cape coast, with its forests, beaches, mountains and amazing communities. Walking is one of the best ways to appreciate and discover the incredible natural beauty that makes the Cape Garden Route a much loved holiday and lifestyle destination. The walks on offer are spread across the region from Mossel Bay through George and Wilderness, from Sedgefield to Knysna and Plettenberg Bay including adventurous walks in Storms River and along the Tsitsikamma coast. Mayoral Jazz Festival
The Mayoral Jazz Festival takes place on the long weekend of the 19th, 20th and 21st of March on Central Beach. The line-up will include: Just Jinja, PJ Powers, Jimmy Dludlu, Judith Sephuma and Kurt Darren. Approximately 2,500 people are expected to attend this event, many from out town, including a media and VIP contingent.
