Cycling in September

It would seem that September is a popular month for Cycling.

The first cycling event will be the PE PLETT Mountain Bike Stage Race taking place on the 3rd -  6th of September.  The route in 2015 will start at the Wedgewood Country Estate outside of Port Elizabeth and the finish will be dramatic as the riders cross the Keurbooms River by floating bridge and onto the finish line at Forever Resorts.  For more info please visit http://www.easyreg.co.za/users/sign_in

Next Dr Evil is presenting his three days of world class mountain bike racing in one of the most breath taking locations on the Garden Route. The race has created routes that are less than 80 kilometers per day. The Dr. Evil Classic takes place from 17th – 19th September 2015. The town of Wittedrift becomes home to the Race Village for the three days!  There will only be space for 350 riders so tickets are limited. The 2015 Dr Evil route maps / profiles and information are posted on http://www.drevilclassic.com/

If you are planning a trip down to the garden route this October please remember to look at next month’s newsletter where we will be giving more details around the Plett wine and bubbly festival that will take place on the 9 & 10th of October.
