Century 21's Relentless Growth - Century 21 Brakpan, Sedgefield and Kempton Park

Century 21's Relentless Growth

Century 21 Brakpan, Sedgefield and Kempton Park

In a year that has been described as "subdued" or "flat" by many players and commentators with regards to growth in the property sales industry and, with many property sales companies jumping onto the concept of creating digital agencies that removes the use of the traditional estate agent, Century 21 in South Africa is bucking the trend.

It's no surprise really because what is fast becoming one of the most desired brands in South Africa today, Century 21 South Africa is emulating what the brand is showing globally. Globally, the Century 21 brand has grown phenomenally in just the last 12 months with the number of franchises up by 10% to 8 800, grown its traditional estate agents force by over 20% to 120 000 and has added another country to its portfolio which now stands at 81 countries. This growth has occurred against the backdrop of all the noise and threats made against traditional real estate companies by digital agencies, banks and attorneys. What makes this even more profound is that Century 21 operates in very sophisticated property markets around the world who already have access to exceptional digital web based platforms, superb cyber connectivity and access to any property information and advice whatsoever.

So, we are proud to announce our three new franchisees in South Africa - Rina Fourie for the Century 21 Brakpan office, Andre Scheepers for the Century 21 Sedgefield office and Savas Nicolaides who will be opening a new Century 21 office exclusively for Kempton Park.

Brakpan and Kempton Park form part of Gauteng's East Rand and this region continues to be very popular for home buyers making it a critical node for Century 21. The characteristics that make the East Rand so popular include its accessibility to major freeways connecting it to Johannesburg, Sandton and Pretoria, its proximity to the O.R. Tambo International Airport and is home to many top schools and shopping centres. The aesthetics of the East Rand making it even more desirable include many lakes, golf courses and is what estate agents term "a leafy suburb" with streets and avenues adorned with high, mature trees and large open spaces giving it an element of a "country living".

Sedgefield, also once called "The Slow Town" is situated on the Garden Route in the Western Cape and is positioned between Knysna and George. As in all areas of the Garden Route and perhaps not as populated as George and Knysna, it is adorned with beautiful natural features, has exceptional views and vistas and offers a lifestyle that many dream of. Sea and surf, beach and bush, sunsets and breezes all contribute to many outdoor activities for residents and influence the design of homes. So much so that Sedgefield has become an area high in demand where buyers considering Knysna, Wilderness and even Plettenberg Bay and Mossel Bay also consider it as an option. Century 21 has offices in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna so we can effectively offer a service to any purchaser or seller within the whole Garden Route.

We welcome Rina, Andre and Savas into this Global Century 21 phenomenon and who have embraced our business philosophy of "It's all About the Client Experience" in their own offices. All of our new members are experienced in the property sales industry and we feel honoured and privileged that they have chosen the Century 21 brand as their preferred partner.
